Founded in Luzern, Switzerland year 2005 by Jeanette Domeisen-Søegaard.
The brand favouritz started out with a small range of self-made baby toys and accessories after it proved hard to find the Danish style of colours and simplicity, for small children. Both for gifts and for every day use. I created the party-in-a-box concept, containing everything needed for a complete birthday party, with more than 10 different themes to choose from. From 2005-2008 to help out busy families or with larger parties we also offered all included hosted parties.
In 2006 favouritz was voted 1of10 best life hacking business ideas by the trendsite "Springwise", for the party-in-a-box concept and the matching Nikoniko figures. Many of the figures were also featured on products available at the shop and wholesalers around Europe and America.
First retail shop opened at Löwenplatz, Luzern in 2006
Second at Habsburgerstrasse, Luzern in 2010 and the third shop at Kauffmannweg, Luzern in 2011
Since 2016 the Favouritz shop products are only available at re-sellers and at social shopping events / fairs.
